Terms & Conditions

Company: A Clean Life LLC (“A Clean Life,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by A Clean Life. By booking, scheduling, or receiving services, you (“Client”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

A Clean Life provides residential cleaning services as selected at booking, including but not limited to maintenance cleaning, deep cleaning, and add-on services. All services are performed based on the condition of the home at the time of arrival. Results may vary depending on age, wear, prior maintenance, material condition, and structural limitations. We do not guarantee restoration of surfaces to like-new condition.

2. Service Exclusions

Unless expressly agreed in writing, services exclude:

  • Mold remediation

  • Biohazard cleanup

  • Pest removal

  • Restoration services

  • Structural repairs

  • Exterior ladder work

  • Hoarding remediation

  • Hazardous material handling

  • Heavy lifting beyond safe working limits

We reserve the right to refuse any task that presents safety, legal, environmental, or property risk.

3. Client-Provided Supplies & Equipment

Client agrees to provide all cleaning supplies and equipment, including a working vacuum.

Company is not liable for:

  • Damage caused by client-provided products

  • Equipment malfunction

  • Ineffective cleaning results due to inadequate tools

If required supplies are unavailable or defective, Company may:

  • Modify scope of service

  • Reschedule service

  • Decline service

4. Pricing & Condition Representations

Pricing is based on:

  • Representations made by Client at booking

  • Home size and layout

  • Service frequency

  • Condition level

If actual conditions materially differ from representations, Company may:

  • Adjust pricing

  • Require upgraded service level

  • Decline service

Recurring pricing assumes ongoing maintenance between visits.

5. Minimum Service Charge

All visits are subject to a minimum service fee of $149.

6. Access & Safety

Client agrees to provide safe, lawful access and maintain safe working conditions. Client must:

  • Secure pets

  • Ensure utilities are functioning

  • Disclose fragile or unstable items

Company may immediately stop or refuse service if conditions are unsafe or misrepresented. No refund shall be owed if service is halted due to unsafe conditions.

7. Payment Authorization

Client authorizes Company to charge the payment method on file for all services rendered, cancellation fees, rescheduling fees, and outstanding balances. Unpaid balances may be sent to collections.

Client is responsible for:

  • Accurate billing information

  • Payment processing fees resulting from failed transactions

8. Cancellations & Lockouts

At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Late cancellations, denied entry, or lockouts will incur a cancellation fee up to the full-service amount. Repeated cancellations may result in termination of service.

9. Satisfaction & Right to Cure

Client must report dissatisfaction within 24 hours. Company reserves the exclusive right to cure any alleged deficiency through re-performance before any refund obligation is considered. Failure to provide opportunity to cure waives refund claims.

10. Damage Claims

Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours. Company is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Loose, unstable, or improperly installed items

  • Items not disclosed as fragile

  • Damage resulting from aging, deterioration, or structural failure

Photographic evidence may be required.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Company’s total liability for any claim arising out of services shall not exceed the total amount paid by Client for the specific service at issue.

Company shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages

  • Consequential damages

  • Incidental damages

  • Loss of income

  • Emotional distress

  • Loss of use

  • Punitive damages

12. Indemnification

Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless A Clean Life LLC from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • Unsafe property conditions

  • Misrepresentation of home condition

  • Failure to secure pets

  • Use of client-provided products or equipment

13. Digital Communications Consent

Client consents to receive service-related communications via:

  • Email

  • SMS

  • Automated reminders

  • CRM platforms

Standard carrier rates may apply.

14. Data & Technology Use

Company may use:

  • CRM software

  • Payment processors

  • Website analytics

  • Advertising pixels

  • Cookies

Use of services constitutes consent as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Service Termination

Company may terminate services at its discretion for:

  • Safety concerns

  • Repeated policy violations

  • Abusive behavior

  • Payment failure

16. Attorney’s Fees

In any dispute arising from these Terms, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.

17. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any legal action shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Minnesota.

18. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in full force.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Company and Client and supersede prior understandings.

20. Updates

Company may update these Terms at any time. The current version will be posted on the website.
